Chester brings more than 30 years of experience working in a variety of leadership positions in the space and defense industry. Currently, Chester is leading Moog’s Advanced Programs and Innovation Business Development and Sales activity as the Business Development Director. Previously, Chester spent nearly 10 years as the Moog Space and Defense Business Manager for all of Moog’s Asia Pacific business.
He is a registered attorney and a licensed member of the California Bar Association. Additionally, he is a registered Patent Attorney with the United State Patent and Trademark Office.
Following engineering school in 1987, Chester began his career in Van Nuys, CA as an engineer working on rocket engines supporting the global and U.S. space industry. Chester has worked in several different companies, including serving as the President of a small aerospace company with full P&L responsibility. He has managed complex programs throughout career and he has spent more than 15 years in a senior business development role.
