Chief Master Sgt. Tina R. Timmerman is the Senior Enlisted Leader of Space Training and Readiness Delta (Provisional), headquartered at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. She is the advisor to the commander on matters impacting the professional development, proper utilization and readiness of assigned personnel.

Chief Master Sgt. Tina R. Timmerman is the Senior Enlisted Leader of Space Training and Readiness Delta (Provisional), headquartered at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. She is the advisor to the commander on matters impacting the professional development, proper utilization and readiness of assigned personnel. The command consists of 11 squadrons in five locations nationwide in support of 900 enlisted, officers, civilians and contractors. STAR Delta (P) prepares U.S. Space Force forces to prevail in a contested, degraded and operationally-limited environment through the education and training of space professionals across core and common specialty codes; development of space warfighting doctrine and tactics, techniques and procedures; and the test and evaluation of USSF capabilities.

STAR Delta (P) oversees exercise execution and development across the USSF enterprise. STAR Delta (P) manages space integration into DoD tiered exercises along with proving realistic common operations picture of the space domain to train and exercise space warfighting TTPs for the development of Joint Warfighting capabilities for use by Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, Marines, Allies and Coalition Partners.

Chief Master Sgt. Timmerman was born in Rapid City, South Dakota. In 1996 she enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a space systems operator. During her career, Chief Master Sgt. Timmerman has built extensive leadership experience by holding positions at squadron, group, wing and Major Command levels. Her space experience spans multiple mission areas to include ground-based missile warning, command and control, space control operations, acquisitions, MAJCOM functional manager and Air Operation Center positions. As a First Sergeant she expanded her management skills which readied her to lead members at the service, joint and combatant command levels. Chief Master Sgt. Timmerman deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Prior to her current leadership position, Chief Master Sgt. Timmerman served as Senior Enlisted Leader, Joint Task Force – Space Defense, Schriever AFB, Colorado.
