Ms. Jones is an experienced acquisition specialist in Federal government contracts with a focus on serving Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). She brings more than 28 years in government contracting as a Contract Official for both government and private industry as well being the Chief Executive Officer of Phenomenal Management Partners (PMP, LLC) Ms. Jones has spent the last 10 years advising the executive leadership for Minority Institutions and businesses on increasing revenue by pursuing more federal contracts vs grants with a primary focus on the commercialization of innovative technology.

Ms. Jones is an experienced acquisition specialist in Federal government contracts with a focus on serving Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). She brings more than 28 years in government contracting as a Contract Official for both government and private industry as well being the Chief Executive Officer of Phenomenal Management Partners (PMP, LLC) Ms. Jones has spent the last 10 years advising the executive leadership for Minority Institutions and businesses on increasing revenue by pursuing more federal contracts vs grants with a primary focus on the commercialization of innovative technology.

Ms. Jones assisted in establishing the Alabama A&M RISE Foundation, which is the government contracting arm of the University. There she created a web-based tool known as “The Knowledge Sharing Center” that provides training for HBCUs in area of government contracts.

In her most recent role as the Director of the Program Management Office at MSI STEM Research and Development Consortium (MSRDC). Ms. Jones serves as the Principal Investigator of the first of its kind Cooperative Agreement with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) that fosters public-private partnerships between HBCUs, MSIs and Small Business Concerns toward active participation in NASA’s Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program.

Ms. Jones is a proud graduate of Alabama A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in business management with a concentration in Logistics & Procurement. She also has an Advanced Certification in contract acquisition management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville; and she studied at Florida Institute of Technology at  Redstone Arsenal, Al in contract Acquisition management to receive a Master of Science degree.
